In the village of Pantai Sederhana, Muara Gembong Subdistrict, Bekasi Regency, clean water is not always easy to come by. For some residents, basic needs such as bathing, washing, and access to proper sanitation remain daily challenges.

The geographical conditions of the coastal area have led to a shortage of clean water, while the existing sanitation facilities were in poor condition and in need of repair. This makes daily activities more difficult for the community and has the potential to affect environmental health.

In response to these conditions, PT Riken Indonesia implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by constructing adequate sanitation facilities and providing access to clean water for the residents of Pantai Sederhana Village. This program was designed to improve the quality of life for the community by providing adequate sanitation facilities, while also supporting the creation of a healthier and more sustainable environment.

The donation ceremony was part of the company’s support during the initial phase of the program, which was followed by the official opening of the facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This event marked the completion of construction and the start of the facility’s use by the local community.
